Keyboard
The Keyboard page sets up the playing surface for the current preset — which kind of keyboard you play on, how it is tuned, how it looks, and how it responds to your touch. A preset uses one of four surfaces, the Isomorphic grid, the Piano Keyboard, the Uniform Keyboard or the Janko Keyboard ; pick the type at the top, then use the Style and Expression tabs below it.
Keyboard Type
Switching type swaps the keyboard in place. Each type keeps its own look and settings, so you can move between them without losing either one's setup.
Isomorphic
The GeoShred grid: a guitar-like matrix of strings (rows) and frets (columns) where the same chord or scale shape works anywhere on the surface. Best for slides, bends, and per-finger expression.
Piano
A traditional white-black piano keyboard, optionally with pitch- and mod-wheel strips down the side.
Uniform
A red-black uniform keyboard, optionally with pitch- and mod-wheel strips down the side.
Janko
A Janko isomophic keyboard, optionally with pitch- and mod-wheel strips down the side.
Isomorphic Keyboard
General
Apply globally to all presets
When on, this keyboard type is used for every preset as you load it, instead of each preset choosing its own surface. Each preset still keeps its own look and tuning — only the type is forced.
Touch Velocity
Enable
Reads note velocity from how hard you tap the screen, using the device's accelerometer. Not available on devices without an accelerometer (a Mac, for example).
Display
Show ET cents
Shows each key's offset from equal temperament, in cents — useful when the current scale deviates from 12-tone equal temperament.
Piano Keyboard
General
