GeoShred Studio

Composers in Residence

Create something distinctly yours.

We’re inviting composers working in games, film, television, and other musical fields to explore GeoShred Studio through our Composers in Residence program.

This year-long residency offers complimentary software, personal support, a featured presence on our website, and opportunities to share your music and creative process. In exchange, we ask you to create original music featuring GeoShred Studio and share how you use it.

We’re interested in your musical voice, your ideas, and what you discover along the way.

One year

The residency

The program runs for one year, giving you time to explore the instrument, develop a composition, and make GeoShred Studio part of your creative practice.

Your project might be a game character theme, a cinematic cue, an expressive solo, an electronic composition, or something we haven’t imagined yet. You choose the musical direction.

We’ll agree on your project and schedule together before the residency begins. Over the year, the core commitment includes:

  • One short look at your creative processA video, screen recording, or written breakdown showing how you used GeoShred Studio and the musical choices behind your piece. A clear, informal demonstration is welcome.
  • Two public postsAn introduction or work-in-progress post, followed by a post sharing the finished piece. We’ll agree on the channels in advance. Posts should acknowledge the software support and any paid relationship.
  • Your website profile materialsA short biography, a photo you authorize us to publish, links to your professional channels, and music examples you have permission to share.
  • Feedback throughout the residencyOccasional brief check-ins about your experience, including what inspires you, what works well, and what could be improved.
